Awesome interview!!! I enjoyed and appreciated the depth and insightfulness of Erik Paulson’s responses to the questions posed. Most especially when he talked about the importance and/or the lack of bushido code in today’s MMA fighters. How he understands that sometimes it’s a necessary evil that both fighters and promoters use to hype up a fight. But, also how training in today’s modern, hybrid gyms designed for MMA may also be contributing to today’s “me first” culture prevelent in MMA. I also enjoyed listening as he shared his experiences fighting in Japan, and when he described the difference between audience and fan reactions to what was taking place during a fight (because this takes me back to the good o’l Pride days). Anyways, I thought that the whole interview was fantastic and I’m already looking forward to the next episode. Great job guys! Osss!

Awesome interview. Good job. Everything he talked about on this podcast is things that I have been expressing to my students the last couple of years.

I am purple in BJJ and Black Belt in Judo, the last 2 years I have chance to be exposed to some catch wrestling and everything Eric talked about is right on the mark.

keep up the good work.
I also had post about your interview on my site
